Begonia Highway and Snowcap

Begonia ‘Angel Wing’ refers to a group of hybrid begonias known for their distinctive wing-shaped leaves. These begonias are hybrids that typically result from crosses between Begonia coccinea and other species or hybrids within the Begonia genus.

Begonia ‘Angel Wing’ plants are prized for their attractive foliage, which often features large, asymmetrical leaves with a glossy texture. The leaves are usually green with silver or metallic spots or streaks, although there are many cultivars with different leaf colors and patterns.

In addition to their foliage, Begonia ‘Angel Wing’ plants may also produce clusters of small, pendulous flowers in shades of pink, red, or white. These flowers add further ornamental value to the plant and typically bloom from spring to fall.

Begonia ‘Angel Wing’ plants prefer bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. They benefit from regular watering, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. With proper care, these begonias can be grown indoors as houseplants or outdoors in containers or hanging baskets, adding beauty and interest to any garden or indoor space.
