Hoya Creeper (Carnosa)

Hoya carnosa, commonly known as Wax Plant or Porcelain Flower, is a species of flowering plant in the Apocynaceae family. Native to East Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Islands, it is cherished for its attractive foliage and clusters of waxy, star-shaped flowers.

Hoya carnosa is an evergreen vine with thick, waxy leaves that are typically dark green and glossy. The leaves may have a slightly succulent texture and are often twisted or cupped. The plant produces clusters of small, fragrant flowers that resemble wax and are typically white or pink, depending on the cultivar.

This plant is popular for its ease of care and ability to thrive in indoor environments. It prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Hoya carnosa is drought-tolerant and should be allowed to dry out between waterings. With proper care, it can produce flowers throughout the year, adding beauty and fragrance to any indoor garden or space.
